Project description
Artek's global website is orbited by four satellite sites, offering a self-contained base to four specific aspects of the brand's activities. 2nd Cycle sells and catalogues vintage pieces issued by Artek in the past 90 years. Artek Japan caters to the interests and requirements of the brand's japanese followers. Artek Helsinki Store is a digital home for the flagship store, birthplace of Alvar Aalto's company.
While the satellites are derived from the same modular system as the global website, each offers a different interpretation. These variations result from a close collaboration with the respective teams, adding character and perspective.
