In a logical continuation of SS21, we approached Kiko Kostadinov's Womenswear presentation for AW21/22 as a fully realized 3D environment. Considering the architectural affordances of digital space in literal ways, shapes, patterns and colors are fused into a speculative environment. A generative algorithm assembles new arragements for each visitor. While gaming-inspired user controls offer high degrees of perceived freedom, exposed aides of production remind us of the built nature of the digital.

The presentation incorporates video sequences directed by Laura und Deanna Fanning in the brand's studio – reintroducing the challenges of creative production during lockdown in the seemingly unlimited possibilities of digital space.
