Project description
OTTO 958 is the cultural platform established by Kiko Kostadinov in London and Morán Morán Gallery in Los Angeles. We have joined the OTTO 958 faction to contribute creative direction for the digital space and promote its agenda worldwide.
otto958.systems takes shape as a vault of data blocks arranged into a stream of consciousness. Data intersects and overlaps with garments and accessories, reappearing as textile prints, on hangtags and within the product photography. To navigate both content and products, the user is confronted with a command line interface reacting to keywords and commands. It offers granular control in exchange for commitment and interest.
Individual blocks expand into multimedia articles, host audio content and project videos. At their core lies a modular system that allows for great flexibility and interconnection between blocks, forming thematic clusters. The ever-expanding range of OTTO 958 products is available for purchase directly from the website, employing a seamlessly integrated e-commerce solution. The garments' URL print reconnects their IRL appearance to their origin.
This website superseeds the digital exhibition catalogue.
