The invitation as architectural artefact

Project description

Rick Owens' work deals with volume and weight, hardness and softness, sustain and release. In this sense, both his clothes and the furniture collection ask architectural questions and apply architectural measures.

For the brand's furniture exhibition in collaboration with Andreas Murkudis, we designed print invitations that echo these principles. Built from raw packaging cardboard and purposefully imbalanced, the invitations assume an object-like quality, adequate for the occasion.
